Other Funding Opportunities
On top of funding opportunities through the Initiative for Democracy and Civic Engagement, other opportunities include:
Inclusive History Project Granting Program: Campus Voices and Democratic Participation
The 2025-2026 IHP Research & Engagement Fund and IHP Teaching Fund competitions invite proposals for projects and courses exploring how U-M campus community members—students, staff, faculty, alums, and more—have historically used their voices for democratic participation and sought to shape the university and broader society. Apply by October 30!
U.S. at 250 Grant Program
At the heart of the U.S. at 250 program is a grant initiative designed to support activities across campus. These grants will highlight diverse programs that recognize both historic achievements and persistent inequities, while envisioning a more democratic future.
